In the 2.5/2.6 foxpro world there was this shareware software that allowed you to incremental search from a dbf. In other words you could create a pick list in a screen where the user would type in a box and the browse would scroll down the index.
This is similar to the way the windows help scrolls down when you search a topic and stops when you either get a hit or the closest the result.

I want to create a form that does something like this so that the user can type in a name in a text box and the grid below it would scroll down a large table (100,000) to the closest match. Then by hitting enter the user can view the detail information on next form (for example).
