It is the relationship in the DE that will be important. Is the DE relation set to one-to-many? The default setting is .f.

You don't say explicity, but do you set a BREAK ON EXPRESSION breakpoint? If you break on the _expression_ eof('orders') then you *should* be able to find the precise line of code that is pushing it to eof...

>I should have said I have the persistent relation defined in the datbase. And it got carried over into form DE. I skip on the parent table. In the break point I used EOF("Orders"). The parent table is orders.dbf and the child table is order_line_items.
