My users all have one UPS per PC, no exception. And they all exit Windows normally, also without exception. But in our contract we require that they take these precautions, or they will have to pay according to my scheme. So far we have nothing but happy customers.
>Seriously? Charging to fix data corruptions that shouldn't happen in the first place? What a clunky solution.

>>Why not fix the problem instead of fixing the damage? If all users use a UPS and all users never turn off ther PC without exiting normally, corruption simply won't happen. Period, end of story. I haven't had a single case of data corruption over the last 15-20 years. And the same is true for my more that two thousand users!

>>If your users won't buy a UPS, charge them for fixing the data corruption. I recommend this scheme:
>>First time repair 100$
>>Second time 200$
>>Third time 400$
>>Fourth time 800$
>>Fifth timr 1600$
