The Javascript error is being caused by the Telerik controls that I have on my page. I do not have any client side code (I wouldn't know how to write or add it to the page) in the form. I have a Telerik Ajax manager on the form as well as a Telerik Grid and I changed the Ajax manager (which determines what controls get refreshed and what graphic is displayed during a postback) and the problem went away. Still not sure exactly what was wrong but it appears to be a Telerik bug.
