Why doesn't tennis just count 0, 1, 2, 3 like normal humans instead of love, 15, 30, 40? There's probably a historical story to it, but there is also such a thing as evolution.

There's such a word in German, "St[u umlaut]ck", we say "komad" (a piece), but in English I have no clue, have to manage with "two of those". I don't know what to say when the unit of measure is a unit of one.

I was in a restaurant with a friend and the waiter asked if I wanted more coffee. I said, "I'm fine". He said, "I don't care how you are. You want more coffee?" and he was grinning when he said it. I gave him a very good tip.
