I gave a spin to Infragistics Web Controls about a year ago marrying them with MM web application. They looked and worked pretty good, sometimes stunning. All while being tested locally under Visual Studio 2005 web server. I'd wish VFP had a suite of native controls with similar functionality.

But...

But when everything got moved to production server for testing, it immediately stopped to be amazing. The amount of data that flown between the application and remote web server was huge, hundreds of KBytes per loop.

All that fancy stuff, especially in Grids, required plenty of data to be pushed back and forth. That made refresh of some web pages extremely slow. So finally I dropped the Infragistics in favor of MM web controls.

I tried to make it work very hard and it failed. Though it could be simply explained by my insufficient experience and lack of time for more tests. Still I suggest you try the Infragistics locally and remotely before buying them.

The potential in this suite of web controls is great, and the price was not that high had everything worked.
