Yes, this is what I meant to say to Alexandre - that no driver would translate the table if you had too many fields. Too bad, because there are times when you NEED many fields. Normalization (suggested in another message on the thread) only works if you're repeating fields. I remember trying to fit a home-loan application into the original 1984 Clipper. Multiple tables with 1-to-1 relationships.
