I understand what you mean. Like I said, it's a bit odd. I have a form with 20 buttons, 4 columns, 5 buttons each. Four ON KEY LABEL commands are used to enable one column buttons (and at the same time disable the other three columns). I have a backgound shape of each group of buttons that will change colors to signify which buttons are enabled. This way the user can still tell which buttons are enabled, plus they'll be able to more eaisly read the captions and see the icons of the disabled buttons - which in this particular case is kinda important.
