If you are referring to VFP own help than something is corrupted in VFP installation or Windows itself.
What would happen if you open VFP help file directly by double-click on Foxhelp.chm in VFP7 home directory?

>In the process of transfer my projects etc. to a new computer. All has been going well, however, when i access the help on the new computer the Help comes up but what ever i pick on the left panel the following is given to me on the right panel.
