>By the way, speaking of russian and serbian. Does your last name has something to do with Nedelya (Week)?
Yes and no. Nedelja means both a week and a Sunday (we don't do resurrections that often :). Nedeljko is a typical result of everyone being too drunk and the kum (something akin to a godfather here, though the situation is anything but religious, and the guy may not ever be a parent, he's usually the actual father's best friend) is probably the drunkest - and then at some point they remember that the kid needs a name, which this guy is supposed to provide. But he's probably too far out at the moment. Then someone smart says - hey, born on a Sunday (nedelja), he can be Nedeljko! There are also two other such names: Sredoje and Petko (guess the days of the week). Then in the next generation his kids are Nedeljkov, a couple more and someone slaps an additional -ich as either a diminutive or as -lings (the young of)...
BTW, a colleague of mine was a Subotich - from a village 20km away, but we still addressed each other with "neighbor" :).
