They said since we have a method of providing unique integer keys then continue to use those and let Sql handle the GUID's if it needs them. Once you start setting up your publisher and subscriber it adds one GUID column to each table in the replication schema for GUID's. If you drop replication is supposedly drops the GUID columns too ( can't say I've seen that though ).
