Sort of. Definitely "jello" for what you call "jelly." Technically, it's Jell-o, a brand name, or gelatin.
As for jam, we can buy 3 slightly different products that are all related: jam, preserves and jelly. They differ in whether there are pieces of fruit in them, and I think something else. I'm partial to raspberry preserves. But the standard in most American homes is grape jelly and when most Americans talk about peanut butter and jelly, they mean grape.
