So you mean the government AND the Fed live in perfect paradise because they scratch each other's back? Not quite sure the gov't as such (i.e. the people) is getting anything but the wrong end of the stick. People employed in it, however, may be a different matter. I guess they enjoy frequent windfalls of imaginary currency, which somehow still works for real.
