Better than 'so sad, too bad' ; Agreed not optimum, but if they didn't do it, people would stop buying the cars altogether
GM/Chrysler should be allowed to fail, but helping them limp along while in recession is cheaper than paying everybody unemployment. If they haven't gotten it together to take advantage of the reviving economy (if and when that happens) then let them die.
