Hi all

I had to maintain a very old installer for FPD apps written in Borland C for DOS. I had to increase the size of the char array (from 8 to 17) for the directory and it's path counterpart. Essentially the changes I made is happening as it should but now the utility give a 'Null Pointer Assignment' at the end of the utility's execution.

As it compiles fine and basically runs fine (but somewhere broken) how can I get to the point where things are being overrun? I have tried to increase the buffer just in case the \ expected in the directory / path char arrays doubles up for escape sequencing but that does not solve this problem.

Any suggestions?
Regards
Bhavbhuti
