I like astronomy and use binoculars. But I have poor eyesight so I get my binoculars set right for my eyes.
Took me a while to realise that sharing didn't work. I get them focussed say "look at that " pass them over and then they get refocussed then back to me and so on. And as you say my eyes get pulled around chasing the focus. So I need 2 pairs mine and a guest pair.
