For shapes .. the only dynamic properties you can change are the height and the width. For fields you can change the font properties. The reason is that the Dynamics feature coordinates with the "EvaluateContents" and "AdjustObjectSize" methods of the ReportListener class. The EvaluateContents method allows font properties to be changed but isn't called when processing shapes. The AdjustObjectSize method is only called with shape properties and it gives you the chance to alter the size of a shape.
