Well... ok, I guess I should have been more clear.... sorry about that.

Neither one of the airports are in downtown Orlando.

It is called Orlando Sanford International Airport (and not Orlando's 2nd airport) and is only 38 minutes from the other Orlando International Airport, even in heavy traffic (and in Orlando it can now easily take 38 minutes to go anywhere). The one in Sanford easily makes up for this time as checkin/departure is a fraction of the time as the other Orlando airport.

In the last several years many (but I admit not all) of us locals do check flights at both places.

And when I am picking up someone at the airport in Orlando EVERYTIME I will ask "which airport are you arriving at."

>Not exactly right outside, is it? And in a year and a half in Orlando I never heard anyone call the airport in Sanford Orlando's second airport.

>>I suspect for those of us in North Carolina (which I am part of the year and am now), Greensboro to Sanford or St. Pete for about $39 each way on Allegient Air. Sanford is right outside of Orlando, and is their 2nd airport.
