I have been crabbing for a while about delays of a minute or more on the UT. Wanted to give you an update. Last Friday I switched providers from Comcast to AT&T DSL and have noticed few if any delays since then. So it may have been something to do with Comcast, whether in the setup in my house or something in their network. This still doesn't explain why I was only seeing these delays in UT sessions (connecting to a server in Canada maybe? -- grabbing at straws) but it does seem to point to Comcast somehow rather than anything under your control.
