No sweat. Srdjan probably feels all Americans need to be psycho-analyzed, not just my son. :)

My son didn't show any interest in guns. He use to improvise and make pretend guns from his lego pieces when he was much younger. He is much more interest in his youth basketball team and playing flag football... that is, until I told him what was in the gun cabnet.

>I mentioned before that I'm fine with Srdjan's view... it's when he tries to force it onto others that I won't stand for. Also, the whole physcologist thing is ridiculous and incredibly insulting.

>>Um, I don't think so. Mike made essentially the same point I did, and I'm confident he will stand by it.

>>>Well, Mike C. was disparaging of Sergio's view. Just observing, now back to the sidelines....
>>>
>>>>You are entitled to your opinion but you are out to lunch on these points. I also note that none of those giving positive feedback to Sam were disparaging to the others or their views, unlike you and the others holding your view. I think that speaks for itself.

>>>>>>>I think that you should teach him that no good can come from the guns , and divert his attention to something
>>>>>>>creative and more suitable for his age. Perhaps you could also visit child psyhologist and figure out from where 10 year old
>>>>>>>gets urge to shoot the gun as a hobbie.
>>>>>>>
>>>>>>>There is about one million better things to do in life, then shoot the gun.
>>>>>>
>>>>>>You are over the top. Why try to force your values onto others? Just because somebody shoots a gun doesn't me they intend to kill or cause harm.
>>>>>
>>>>>I think at 10 years old, the concept of using a gun is outragous. What about "Oh, I thought there were no bullets in the chamber, I'm sorry".
>>>>>I aggree (as a Canadian that understands the "the right to bear arms" was misintepreted from the get go) there are far more contructive things to teach a 10 year old, than to shoot a gun.
The American Republic will endure, until politicians realize they can bribe the people with their own money.
