I have posted a problem both here and on CIS regarding a failure to release activeforms when each form has 1 or more grids on it. In the debugger, I've traced into the release method of various forms. When I have 5 forms open, the formscount is 5. After releasing the 5th form, formscount is reduced to 4. When I try to release the now 4th form, the release method triggers, but never gets to the destroy method of any of the objects on the form. Formscount DOES NOT decrement. Trying to close the 3rd form gives me the same result. The 2nd form does close, but the 1st form wont't close. The closebox of the 3 forms is disabled. I can still manipulate the forms, just can't close them. I can ALT-F4 VFP and everything closes. I've instantiated the forms in different orders and the pattern SEEMS to be consistent. Forms 1, 3 & 4 won't release. If only 2 forms are active, they release.

Andy Kramek volunteer to take a look and see what I'm missing. BTW, I tried in both 5.0a and 6.0. 6.0 is better, but doesn't always work.
