Hi everybody.

I am trying to design a simple report. The only difference between this one and others I have designed is that I am trying to use the data environment instead of working with my data before the report and sending the data to the report form.

I have a project table which is in a one-to-many relation with the projdetl table. The projdetl contains the expenses of the project and has a one to one relation with my mdo table. (The mdo table contains information on participants in my system).

Simple enough...

What I am trying to do is design a report that will give me the costs for projects broken down by participants. So I have a data group with projno (The key in project) and one on the paidto field of the projdetl table (Which is my link to the mdo table)

The problem is that I can't seem to be able to sort the records on the paidto field within a project. I have set the order of the project table to projno and the projdetl table on paidto, but the detail is not ordered by paid to in the report. So I cannot do sub-totals by participants...

I guess that this is easy to solve, it's just that I almost never used the data environment before...

Thanks in advance.
