An application that has been running without errors for a couple of years started having problems on or about March 15th. The application creates Word documents and VFP reports and offers the user the opportunity to print them to PDF or to paper. Printing to paper still works fine. However, when a user prints to PDF, the documents are created successfully and the VFP application shuts down without problems, but when the user logs out of Terminal Server, a fatal error is generated forcing the server to reboot. This is particularly unpleasant for the other TS users to say the least. The application has used Amyuni 2.06 (the last royalty-free version I think) as the PDF converter without problems until now. The onset of this problem coincides with an upgrade of the application, but I believe that to be pure coincidence: I have re-installed 6 months' worth of earlier versions, and each of them now causes the same error. It would appear that something has changed in the Terminal Server enviornment--although IT denies having applied any patches or upgrades, nor can they tell me the name of the process generating the error. Has anyone else experienced this?

It is somewhat of an academic question at this point because i realize we've reached the end of the line for the Amyuni product. I need to find a new PDF creator--one that handles both Word automation output and VFP reports and allows the the application to control the file name (long file names are essential) and output directory. Upgrading Amyuni is out of the question due to cost.
