>>>This may seem like an odd thing to say for someone who is online as much as I am but the newer social networking modes make me feel positively Luddite. I thought blogging was pretty bad. Not all blogs -- some of them have terrific content -- just the personal blogs of the here's-how-my-day-is-going variety. Now comes Twitter, which lowers the signal to noise ratio even further. "I just walked downstairs and bought a Coke." Stop the presses! LOL

I was thinking about modern networking last night as I drove my daughter back to university. As I drove she was texting quite a bit sorting out her social life for getting back. Made me realise that these days its really easy for friends to find each other all the time. There's no visiting a few bars or hanging out places to find out where people are . they just know all the time.
