We have mentioned that but the higher ups don't want us to write much .Net code into the app for fear we will try to squeeze in more and more to the point it is not a fox app and we stretch the timeline. I am for abandoning fox but business needs like making money with a quick iteration trump that desire :)

Naomi,

It looks for now most of our "communication" will be using pass throughs. We are just trying to find way to not have to learn endless amounts of stored procedure names and sequences in which to call them or to have to write our own sprocs that encapsulate them ( same thing basically ) since our next iteration we dump fox and move 100% .Net which renders all we do useless as far as efficiency. Plus, I am tryng my best to not be made into a defacto DBA guy I am a developer ( you know, it's a pride thing ). I will move on before I let that happen and I can see that can being opened later.
