>We used to write that stuff ourselves, but a few years ago we bought Stonefield Database Tookit and it handles all that for us. You have your production database and you have a template database. You update the template like you want it to be. You drop the template dbc and the 4 Stonefield tables from your template folder into you production folder and instantiate the Stonefield manager object and call the Update() method. It handles the rest for you.

I like this as well. I updated the DBF Comparison tool for my use before the company I was working for purchased Stonefield. I really like using Stonefield for this now. The other is more for viewing/documenting changes.
