Unfortunately, everything I've ever read about torture tells me that torture does not necessarily yield the desired results. A person undergoing torture will say anything to make it stop. And if you're talking about a true terrorist, you'd be more likely to get false information than true by the time anything was going to happen.

On the other hand, holding a person's face in both hands doesn't seem all that tortuous to me. I imagine a person could endure such torture for a very long time without cracking.

I once came very close to telling my dentist where the gold was buried, and I don't even have any.
