I do understand there was rogue element among Blackwater contractors that was notorious for swirlies. (I believe it was euphemized as 'aggressive ablution' )

Yeah, I imagine if you needed to torture a cat sleep-deprivation would be the way to go. At least the least time consuming. Keep them up for 10, 15 minutes ...
