You might enjoy this. It is actually about the language in the mountains of North Carolina, but they speak about their food, hunting, and fishing. See if you can catch the full program. It's one of the reason guns will not be outlawed in the U.S.anytime soon. There are still pockets of areas that live in rural poverty and hunt for their food. It's only from 2004. Of course, if the government steps in and provides food, then the hunting would no longer be necessary and guns could be outlawed. Unless some form of prosperity is brought to the region though, they would be forever on government assistance. It's hard to believe there are areas still like this, but there in just about every state in the south, west, and north in rural areas.
