>I have reports which are actually letters my client sends out. Some of the paragraphs are lengthy, longer than a single text box control can handle. So I have to abut consecutive controls. This is inconvenient enough, but when I have to insert iif expressions it becomes almost hopeless. Is there any way to handle larger amounts of text in VFP reports? (I know Word automation is a possibility, but I'm trying to stay within VFP at this point.) Thanks.

Hi There

Have look at www.report-sculptor.com

There is method call which will print memos or plain text files as smart text, meaning that not only they can span multiple pages
but you can also format text using simple html tags. (The same as you would write bold or italic part of the message here!)

You can include pictures, cal FRX-es , parts of excel files etc.

See sample #01 here

FYI There will be new version comming up in couple of weeks, which improves text rendering quiet a bit.
