My Spanish isn't good enough to be of use to you, but I can give you some great restaurant recommendations if you're going <g>

>>>Hola,
>>>

>>I lived in Spain for 3 years and the only difference I noticed in Spain Spanish versus say Mexican Spanish is that the Spaniards will pronounce ''ll' as 'zh". Silla is pronounced like "SeeZha" and the "z" sound ends up being 'th' i.e., Cadiz ends up "Cadith". Otherwise the main language is pretty much similar.

>>Hope this helps...

>I know the "standard" differences of certain words (or letters) pronunciation between Spanish in Spain, Mexico, and Argentina (from studying and watching movies). Yet, I miss catching a lot of words in a fast spoken Spanish of Spaniards. So listening to Hablar por Hablar is very helpful to get my ears attuned to their way of speaking. And having a transcript of a conversation and listening at the same time (a couple of times) would be very helpful; I believe.

Charles Hankey

Though a good deal is too strange to be believed, nothing is too strange to have happened.
- Thomas Hardy

Half the harm that is done in this world is due to people who want to feel important. They don't mean to do harm-- but the harm does not interest them. Or they do not see it, or they justify it because they are absorbed in the endless struggle to think well of themselves.

-- T. S. Eliot
Democracy is two wolves and a sheep voting on what to have for lunch.
Liberty is a well-armed sheep contesting the vote.
- Ben Franklin

Pardon him, Theodotus. He is a barbarian, and thinks that the customs of his tribe and island are the laws of nature.
