Now you've done it ;-) That song will be in my head all day now.

There is a terrific concert video called "Black and White Night." It was recorded in L.A. late in his life and the crowd is filled with celebrities. Early in the show he does this rumbling thing in his throat which I can't describe accurately. The crowd goes nuts. You can see everyone exchanging looks -- that was outrageous!

I don't have that many regrets but one of them is that I never saw him perform. I have seen about every rocker of note in the past 30 years. The really sad part was he played at the Uptown Theater in Chicago, literally blocks from my girlfriend's apartment. I decided to watch a baseball game instead! What a dummy.
