>>We have an application distributed to hundreds of clients written in FPW 2.6. Recently I went on site and saw some strange behavior on a clients brand new P2 400 Mhz system. Running our program would intermittently result in an "Application Error" window on startup warning that an error had occurred in the system. Choosing the "Cancel" button would result in a Win 95 crash, and selecting cancel would close the message and software loadup would continue normally. I attributed it to funky interactions of applications in the 16 bit memory space.

>>A few days later I upgraded my machine at home to a 450 Mhz P2, and discovered that same type of behavior just trying to load foxpro. If try to run it through windows, I get this error. If I load it using a batch file from the command prompt, then it works normally.

>>Both systems showing this error are running BX chipset motherboards at 100 Mhz fsb. Before running this setup I was running an AMD K6-2 cpu which was also running 100 Mhz fsb, and I never saw the error. Has anyone seen this error or does anyone know a fix for it?
