I haven't heard anything specific about VFP. It could be that the 64-bit printer driver uses more CPU than the 32-bit driver, or is buggy. A few things to try:

- Does it happen with all printer drivers?
- Does printing from other 32-bit apps peg the CPU?
- Try downloading the latest 64-bit driver.
