Hi all

I need to allow the user to choose their own precision for ROUND(), that is fine, I can get it in the User Preference dialog I have. But my concern is that I need to use this everywhere I do a calculation, for starts (more complicated calculations will follow), I just defined a line-items Remote View and this view needs to have a calculated column for amount, qty * rate needs to be rounded. This same calculated column in the RV for Amount needs to be provided a value in code when the qty or rate is changed so now I need to round in code.

I am also, wavering, if I should de-normalize to have a regular field for the Amount (currently calculated) column in the above RV.

Please suggest.

UPDATE: Yes, Rate and Quantity fields have their own precision independent of Amount precision.
