When freedom is announced to become subservient to "greater good" then next transformation, that freedom means anarchy, i.e. it is dangerous, comes easy.>
>The concept of greater good is the foundation of civilization. You cannot have specialization without co-operation, rules of engagement and organization. Once a group of co-operating people reaches a certain size, you need professional organizers. In a private company they're called executives; at a country level we call them politicians.
The concept of individual freedom is the foundation of civilization. You cannot have meaningful cooperation, rules of engagement and organization without specialization. Once you feel a need in professional organizers it means that you are old enough to retire, or that you never had an ability to care about yourself. If it happens on country level then the country moves full speed to totalitarian future, and who cares how you call it.
