>Forget the distracting feints and focus on the question: Do you or do you not agree that a city like NY requires professional organization and/or government to keep going? And do you or do you not agree that people in NY cannot demand absolute freedom to do as they please? The fact that you live there tells me you are perfectly aware of the truthful real-life answer that contradicts your claims here.

That's too bad that you cannot see the answer. It was stated clear in the previous reply: people need in law enforcement, i.e. police and courts, and it is not because they are dangeroous to each other, it is just few of them. Anything else could be done without government participation. I don't know what you meant adding "professional organization". Most likely, it is a face-saving backdoor.
People can do their business individually and they can do it together. Not everyone is doer, after all; there are thinkers around. When people do their business together, it does not mean that Big Brother would do it even better.
Also, how many times are you going to repeat this tiresome "absolute" freedom chant? Is it another backdoor? There is freedom and there are situations when it is curtailed. Using 'absolute freedom' label as an excuse to curtail actual freedom is shameful, in my humble opinion.
By the way, why are you so obsessed with NY? Does it mean something unique to you?
