I agree that the sinking of the Rainbow Warrior was wrong, but it was also state sponsored and the agents went on public trial by the world and yet I don't recall any real trouble or public denouncement for France the govt over that. Nor for France's inept attempt to blame MI6 at the time either. I think France basically did what the U.S. would have loved to do at the time themselves, but wasn't willing to risk the posibble world public backlash. I would not be surprised to learn that France had unspoken support from the U.S.
at the time. One of those "we won't complain if you do it." Outside of that incident, it is difficult to find a lot of sympathy for Greenpeace activists (not referring to that action). I wonder, have the hoodie terrorists started attacking yet?
