Hi Michel,

I would not agree that you never get a "Thank You".

I realy like the way the page operates. Its very intuitive and one of my favorite sites (The only one with more hits is a online interpreter ::) ).

There is also the "No message is best message" way of doing things.

I normaly do not care to much about the home page, it's just login. I ignore the rest. Only if I need the FAQ or Download I move back to it (I've never understand why I have to move the the home / login page to do this, but this an other discussion). So I have a general idea how it looks. I found this thread, reopened the home page in an other tab, found it squeezed and hard to read reported my opinion in the same general way you have asked for.

If you like to have specific questions answerd, I think you need to have a list to fill. I will not fill it, I never fill lists where I'm limited to express my ideas. ::)

There is no way to do that job so that it will satisfy everybody. You have done valueable work on the page appearance. One can see the logic. All what I like to express are suggestions to problems I see. I have simply put a closer look on the page then normale and give you my impressions.
There are problems that are hard to understand, for example partial (red / green) color blindness. Even those affected will not know the problem until examination.

One can only provide the problems to you as one see it (and find the time to express). I beg your pardon for not answering the question in the way you expected it.
If you found my messages offensive, it will be simply my limited knowlegde to express the fine tunes in english.

Never mind

Agnes

>>I don't think we're that hard to please. In this case multiple people said they think the light blue on a light background is hard to read. I think it was made as constructive suggestions, not as complaining.

>It's a general perspective, not related to that specific point. A common pattern I have observed is that everytime we release a new options, either requested by one or many members, or an option which we decided to implement, many are always taking that occasion to bring back old topics or to complain in general instead of simply saying thanks or something nice I guess. But, it is better than it was before as the site is more generic now. With all the requests we have agreed on for several years, there was way too many customization and this was making it extremely difficult to support. Personally, I haven't seen any other site which went that far. But, as mentioned in the last two days, there is still a major point to the support area which needs to be simplified. I just do not know about it as if we are trying to implement that, many will simply jump on it and it will just never end.
