I think I found the error, although not intuitive to me. When I cut and pasted all the controls from old form onto new one that was built from the class, a hyperlink control was causing the problem so I removed it. Now I do not get that error.>

The prob is not exactly solved but I do like that the form maximizes!
Have u tried to get it to work after having dropped a hyperlink ctrl onto the form?
