They may have administered them in the schools. I moved that year in the middle of the school year so I may have missed getting it. I don't recall. They may have just called it the 'flu shot' too and that wouldn't stick out in my mind after years of getting required immunizations in the school system. I wonder why that changed and parents have to go get the immunizations for their children on their own now? There was a time when they were given at the schools (late 60s early 70s).
