>>>Hi,
>>>
>>>I am considering changing my internet connection from DSL to Cable and want to compare costs. How do I find out what connection speed I am getting right now with DSL? The cable guy said that their default speed is 2 Mb by 2 Mb (upload and download). I want to see what is my current speed.

Sure does. My (comcast) cable connection has download speed of 20+ Mb/s and upload speed north of 10 Mb/s. I would expect DSL to be much faster than what you have now, although cable seems to beat DSL coming and going no matter what. With speedtest.net you can compare your speed to others around you...
