We must be the same age. I remember very well that it was 1976 and I was 19, because I was taking the intro news reporting class and one of the other students did an assignment on the swine flu outbreak. Very good piece. It was one of three that was read aloud in class. I even remember the guy's name, Michael Tam. Amazing what detritus is still kicking around my head after all this time....
