I have never had a problem paying for the software I use -- it would be kind of hypocritical, wouldn't it? -- but at this point there are a number of utilities on my system that I didn't pay for and didn't steal. The times they are a-changin'....
Reminds me of Bill Gate's prediction that eventually everything would be on the web, designer tools would be free, and we would pay for 'services' because no more actual down and dirty design would be required but rather just configuration using online tools.
