The right wing of the Republican party has decided that if you're not socially conservative, they don't want you.

Wrong, he was a closet democrat because he had to be. He is out of the closet because he read the tea leaves and saw he could not win another term as a republican. He fits well in the democrat party. I only hope what Hussein does can be reversed in 2 or 4 years.
