Add the network location to the local intranet zone.. it'll look something like

file://blah.ad.halebam.com

In IE, Tools, Security tab, select local intranet, click the sites button, click the advanced button. paste into the textbox the UNC path to the folder (or an appropriate higher level one) and click add. The listbox should then display a resolved file: link like above.

If this "just started happening" you were way out of date on windows service packs. A patch almost a year ago caused this trust issue to happen.
