Apart from this (as I said in message #1388419)

I had very good experience with TextDynamic by http://wpcubed.com/ - the forum seems to be very lively, documentation good, and the developer very helpful. He even found a few tricks with GetInterface() which didn't even cross my mind - and the guy doesn't speak VFP.

It cost about $500 three years ago, I guess the course of €:$ is a tad different now. I used it to have a just a RTF editor inside an app, with very limited use (as the material to be edited was sort of proprietary), but it should be able to do what you ask too.

...it comes with a spelling dictionary, but you can add a custom one - basically a text file with words, which it somehow compiles in an utility so you get a compact version you can deliver.
