FWIW I did not take offense. He didn't suggest that he is in charge, just politely requested that an increasingly unpleasant conversation be taken private. The UT is reasonably civil and one of the things that makes it so is that members will sometimes speak up when things are getting out of hand.

If you didn't see it, I posted the other day that I didn't take offense at what you said after my latest episode, either. It was maybe insensitive but not uncalled for. I am as tired of my shenanigans as anyone. It really needs to stop. Meaning mainly the drinking. I may not always be delighted with my life when sober but it's only alcohol that makes me do crazy things like that. I know you are not the sentimental type and am guessing you have good reasons for not being.
