The app I'm working on now consists of several components, a couple of which are based on timers. They poke data into the non-timer app. I've been getting a crash (literally) course in safe code. Make sure every variable is declared local, make sure to restore workarea, etc., etc. The kind of minor sloppiness that might not cause trouble in an ordinary desktop app can bring this one to its knees.
