I am wondering if anyone might be able to come up with an idea to help me with this.
When a user clicks on an empty textbox that is bound to a field, the cursor remains in the location in which they clicked. If the user then starts typing, they are entering data in the middle of the field.
A second concern is VFPs auto scroll behavior in a textbox. When a user clicks at the end of the text of a textbox and then drags to the right, the text scrolls and they lose the leftmost portion of the textbox (they would have to hit home to get there).
They find both of these behaviours annoying.
The field is larger than the textbox which is, I believe, the point of the problem. Even an "empty" textbox is basically alot of spaces which I guess VFP reads as data.
I wonder, has anyone else gotten any complaints about this behaviour? More importantly, is there a way to stop this behavior?
Thanks
